Cycle touring in Deià, Mallorca

Tramuntana mountain range

Throughout the winter, the biggest European teams prepare on the island, because they find the ideal conditions for training.

Professional cyclists who have visited Mallorca have a favourable opinion of the island, such as Stephen Roche (winner of the Tour de France, the Giro d’Italia and the world championship), who came to Mallorca on the advice of Miguel Indurain.

According to Roche “Mallorca is fascinating, it has a good climate, attractive nature and offers unbeatable possibilities for cycle tourists and professionals”.

In Deià, specifically, professional cyclists such as Joan Horrach, Vicente Reynés , Jameson Pantano, who have been present in the grand tours (Tour de France, Giro d’Italia and Vuelta a España), live here.

From February to May in particular, amateur teams enjoy a well-deserved holiday practising their favourite pastime. Beautiful country roads lead to the small inland villages, where the most authentic culture and gastronomy converge.

We also have in our facilities, a space adapted for you to store your equipment and keep it in perfect working order.

We hope you can enjoy your favourite hobby to the full. For this purpose, we have designed some routes, in GPX format, which you can view or download below.
